Vaco currently has a position available for a Director of Data Analytics for a leader within the insurance field. If you have a strong understanding of data mining, statistical analysis, and data visualization techniques we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Oversight of a team of Data Analysts fostering a collaborative culture and mentorship program.
• Analyze complex datasets to show trends, patterns, and actionable insight for senior management team.
• Develop predictive models and data visualizations to show findings.
• Present complex data insights to executives in a clear, concise way.
• Evaluate and select data analytics tools, platforms, and technologies.
• Drive business growth and optimization by leveraging data-driven insights.

Qualifications:

• Programming skills - proficiency in programing languages such as Python which is a must and SQL. R would be highly preferred.
• Ability to translate data insights into actionable business strategies and key business drivers.
• Strong project management skills to oversee multiple data analytics initiatives simultaneously.
• Strong leadership skills
