Job Description

We are seeking a Global Logistics Coordinator to oversee and optimize our international and domestic shipping operations. This role will be customer-facing, responsible for managing all customer quotes, coordinating shipments, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, and optimizing transportation costs. The ideal candidate must have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide accurate pricing and shipping information while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

This is a full-time in-office position.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare customer quotes for products with shipping and apply appropriate global pricing
  • Oversee Global Shipments: Manage and track international and domestic shipments, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Freight & Carrier Coordination: Work closely with freight forwarders, couriers, and shipping carriers to secure the best rates and delivery schedules.
  • Order Processing & Fulfillment: Ensure accurate processing of customer orders, including verifying shipping addresses, calculating costs, and confirming compliance with shipping requirements.
  • Customs Compliance & Documentation: Prepare and review import/export documentation, ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations and trade laws.
  • Inventory & Supply Chain Management: Coordinate with warehouse teams to monitor inventory levels, minimize delays, and optimize stock movement.
  • Cost Control & Optimization: Identify cost-saving opportunities in logistics operations while maintaining service quality.
  • Customer & Vendor Communication: Act as a liaison between internal teams, customers, and third-party logistics providers to resolve shipping issues and inquiries.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze logistics workflows and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance delivery performance.
  • Data Entry & Reporting: Maintain accurate shipping records, track key performance metrics, and provide regular reports on logistics operations.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory, warehouse, manufacturing accounting, product costing, or related experience coupled with technical aptitude to support associated
  • Experience with demand planning and forecasting methodologies
  • Business process analysis, design, and process flow skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and be detailed-oriented

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience : 3+ years of experience in global logistics, supply chain, or shipping coordination.

  • Skills & Knowledge :
  • Strong understanding of international shipping regulations, incoterms, and customs procedures.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or similar platforms).
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with demand planning and forecast methodologies
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and compliance.
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office, Outlook, & Office Suite
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in logistics for technology or manufacturing industries.
  • Familiarity with freight forwarding, customs brokerage, and trade compliance.
  • Knowledge of hazardous material shipping regulations (if applicable).
