About Us: Findlay Hearing Center strives to create relationships with patients and the community to promote better hearing health. We work with the big six in the hearing aid industry and only see patients 18+. We are a small business that has been serving the Findlay community for 50 years but are excited to say that we are expanding! Role Summary: We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Audiologist and/or Hearing Aid Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for a professional seeking work-life balance while delivering high-quality audiological care--perfect for a parent! They must be willing to travel to our satellite office(s) when necessary. They will be responsible for diagnosing, managing, and treating hearing disorders, with an emphasis on patient centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations, including pure tone audiometry, speech audiometry, and tympanometry
  • Diagnose and manage hearing loss and tinnitus
  • Provide counseling and education to patients and families about hearing health and treatment options
  • Fit, program, and adjust hearing aids and other amplification devices
  • Monitor patient progress and follow up to ensure satisfaction with devices and services
  • Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with legal and professional standards
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, as needed, for comprehensive patient care
  • Work closely with the Findlay and Wyandot Memorial Hospital ENT
  • All other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Audiologist or Hearing Aid Specialist
  • Proven experience in audiology practice preferred but not required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to delivering empathetic, patient-centered care
  • Provide an exceptional patient experience
  • Must be flexible and a team player
