Job Overview:

Are you an experienced in insurance sales and have a passion for driving growth and success? Join our team as an Insurance Sales Trainer and work directly with Farmers Insurance agency owners to help them achieve their business goals. In this role, you'll work at a regional District Office to provide guidance, training, and support to new and established agency owners, aiding them in developing successful marketing and sales strategies. Your expertise in sales and communication and your positive, outgoing personality will be key to building success and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver sales training programs to agency owners and their teams.
  • Conduct workshops and one-on-one coaching sessions to improve sales techniques.
  • Assist agency owners in creating and executing effective marketing campaigns.
  • Teach digital marketing strategies, including social media and lead generation.
  • Train agents on working internet leads, including lead follow-up and conversion techniques.
  • Coach agents on strategies for cross-selling, win-backs, and quotes not closed.
  • Analyze sales performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with agency owners to set and achieve sales goals.
  • Introduce and implement best practices for prospecting, quoting, and closing.
  • Train agents on cross-selling, upselling, and customer retention strategies.
  • Educate agents on key insurance products and industry trends.
  • Motivate and inspire agency teams to reach higher sales performance.
  • Provide tools, templates, and resources to streamline sales processes.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Business Acumen: Strong background in business ownership or management, preferably in sales or insurance/financial services.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to help agency owners set goals and develop actionable strategies.
  • Coaching: Build strong relationships and inspire agents across various personality styles.
  • Time Management: Prioritize activities to maximize agency and district growth.
  • Drive and Productivity: Proactively prepare for challenges and take initiative without supervision.
  • Teamwork: Accept feedback and collaborate effectively with others.

Qualifications:

  • Property & Casualty and/or Life, Accident & Health license exams
  • Minimum 3-5 years of insurance sales
  • Proficiency in computer use.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in insurance sales
  • Successful background check.

Compensation:

  • Competitive salary with experience starting at $55,000 to $62,000, plus bonuses.
