The apparel resale market is projected to double in the next three years, reaching $350B worldwide by 2027; brands are leaving billions of revenue on the table and missing out on a powerful way to engage with their customers. With Treet, brands can launch their own resale experience in a matter of days, unlocking a new revenue stream, increasing customer loyalty, and reducing their carbon footprint. We launched Summer 2021 and were already powering the resale experiences for 200+ brands (the majority of branded resale sites worldwide), including Girlfriend Collective, Tecovas, DEN, and ASRV. • ??? We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build innovative resale experiences for world-class apparel brands.

Requirements Youre based in SF You have at least 4+ years of development experience as a full-stack / frontend engineer You have experience working with React and Javascript You have passion for and a good eye for UI/UX and design You work proactively, autonomously, and collaboratively Youre motivated by creating simple solutions for ambiguous complex problems Youre able to weigh trade-offs for different technical solutions You leave things better than you found it You care about sustainability and believe in the power of secondhand shopping Advantageous, but not essential You have experience working at fast-paced startups Youve worked extensively with our stack (Node.js/Express/React.js/Postgres) ???? About the role You will own a large area of Treet's product experience You will help define and improve best practices You will work across the stack, and potentially even across different disciplines (e.g. analytics, product management) You will play an integral role in building our culture as the company grows You will collaborate closely with the team on shaping future roadmaps and making important product decisions. You will help design complex systems that scale with the company While your role is defined as above, there will certainly be other areas you may be called to assist with periodically (as we're a small team and sometimes wear multiple hats) ????
