Legion is currently recruiting for Unarmed Foot Patrol Officer positions in the Downtown Santa Monica area.

The ideal candidate is an experienced patrol, highly professional individual with strong communication skills.

You will actively conduct foot patrols across multiple zones in and around the Santa Monica Farmers market, 3rd Street Promenade, 1320 5th St, Santa Monica, CA 90401 and the surrounding area.

Your most critical responsibilities include:

Actively patrolling assigned zones proactively engaging with members of the public.

responders when required.

Ensure Daily Activity Reports and incident reports are timely and accurate.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Guard Card
• Baton Certification
• Taser Certification
• Pepper Spray Certification
• Handcuffing Certification.
• Sufficient identification to complete an I-9 form, i.e., social security card valid U.S. passport or WA Driver's License.
• Must possess a High School education or equivalent.
• Valid CA Driver's License with a clean record (must be insurable).
• Open availability for scheduling.
• 1 year security (Or equivalent military/LE experience)

Required actions:

Furnish a resume detailing all prior employment through the current

employer to verify the last seven years of employment history and personal references.

REQUIRED documents:

• CA Driver’s License
• Social security card valid
• Permanent Resident or work permit (if Applicable)
• Military discharge records documenting Honorable Discharge (DD 214) (if applicable).
• Guard Card with applicable certifications
• Current (within 30 days) driving record.
• Open availability for scheduling.
