Job Description: Mechatronics Technician (maintenance tech)

Overview:

Quala is seeking an experienced Mechatronics Technician to join our service team. This is an opportunity to use your knowledge and experience associated with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing machinery in a state-of-the-art prototyping lab located in Redmond, WA.

What you will do:

Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on equipment / machinery including:

• CNC Machinery (Daytron, Okuma, Haas)
• 3D print equipment
• General shop tools and equipment

Assist in new equipment installation and modifications of equipment as needed.

Facilitate & coordinate specialized equipment repair.

Maintain a neat, clean, and organized environment.

Who you are:

• 2+ years of experience as a maintenance / mechatronics technician or similar role
• Working knowledge of general and preventative maintenance of machine shop tools and equipment
• Strong analytical and investigative skills and mature judgment; must be a problem solver and a decision maker
• Ability to communicate and work in a team environment
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• High School diploma/GED required
• Experience in maintenance and repair of Daytron / Okuma CNC equipment preferred
• Experience in facility management preferred

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly rate range $39.00 - $46.00 based on experience and qualifications.
